CELEBRATION
Staff onam celebration was celebrated on
31st August, 2022 in IES Auditorium. The
pookalam competition of departments,
followed by the Onam Sadhya (lunch)
and small cultural events was conducted.

ANSYS WORKSHOP CONDUCTED

One day workshop on ANSYS software was conducted by Department of Mechanical Engineering in
association with CADD CENTRE, M G Road, Thrissur. Training was conducted on 21st October, 2022
at Mechanical CAD lab. Senior faculty of CADD CENTRE, Mr. Binoy Baby handled the workshop.
After the session, ME HoD Dr. Rahul S. Arakkal distributed the certificates.

 ORIENTATION PROGRAMME OF 2022 BATCH

Orientation program was conducted for 2022 batch students on 26th October, 2022 at 10am in IES Audi-
torium. The Chief guest was Dr. Dixon P Thomas (Eminent Psychologist and motivational speaker).

FAREWELL PARTY

Farewell Party for the 2018-2022 batch mechanical students have conducted on 23rd July 2022 at 10am in
ME Seminar hall. It is conducted by the ARME (Association of Royal Mechanical Engineers).

AL RIHLA WORLD
CUP CELEBRATION
A celebration was arranged in
accordance with FIFA WORLD
CUP –QATAR 2022. It was cele-
brated on 23rd November, 2022
at 12.40 pm in IES ground.

 NBA FOR MECHANCAL ENGINEERING
NBA team visited our department on 16th, 17th and 18th December,
2022. They visited the whole department, including labs, classrooms
and interacted with students. After inspection they announced that De-
partment of Mechanical Engineering got NBA for 3 years. Special ap-
preciation to Prof. Rinto K Anto for guiding as department NBA coordi-
nator. CSE and CE departments also accompanied ME for NBA Accred-
itation. All three departments got NBA for 3 years.
