AN ORDER TO ORGANIZE AND TO CREATE A DIVERSION COMMITTEE IN BARANGAY

TAPODOC, LABANGAN, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR FOR THE CONDUCT OF DIVERSION
PROCEEDING FOR CHILDREN-IN-CONFLICT WITH THE LAW (CICL) AND PROVISION OF
INTERVENTION FOR CHILDREN AT RISK (CAR)

WHEREAS, the Rule 18.a. of RA 9344 as amended mandates Barangay Council for the
Protection of Children to conduct diversion proceedings to Children In Conflict with the Law
(CICL) and provide intervention program to Children at Risk;

WHEREAS, BCPC is mandated per Act to provide coordinative linkages with other agencies and
institutions in the planning, monitoring and evaluation of juvenile intervention and diversion
programs in the community;

WHEREAS, BCPC shall support the Local Social Welfare and Development Officer (LSWDO) in
the development of the appropriate diversion programs, as provided under Section 7(b) of the
Act;

WHEREAS, the Diversion Committee shall play a vital role in the implementation of RA 9344 as
amended;

NOW THEREFORE, I MUKHTAR D. UNGAD, the BARANGAY CHAIRPERSON, by virtue of the

power vested in me by the law do hereby organize/create the DIVERSION COMMITTEE in
BARANGAY TAPODOC, LABANGAN, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR with the composition, as follows;
