Purpose of this assignment

Evaluate students for solving some of network problems, from basic to advance in choosing kind of
suitable topology, devices, protocol to connect computers. Based on this knowledge, students should
be able to develop solutions by specifying, designing and managing networking system for an
identified need

Scenario
1. The class leader makes a list of registered students for an account, select a topic account and
register by class list.
2. Maximum of 5 students doing the same topic, each topic must fulfill the requirements content
3. The project uses Unicode font: Times New Roman, size 13 font to write the report
4. Submit product in which create directory with folder named student name, containing text map and
program file.

Required content (10 points):

1. Network model design (2 points)
a. Based on the TCP/IP model, students design a model, set of network layers and how
they interact with each other.
b. Packet Tracer, Draw.io, LucidChart, Microsoft Visio,...
c. Some proposed models
i. LAN for small and medium companies
ii. LAN network for internet room or practice room: 20 computers

2. Explain networking devices (3 points)
a. Network devices, or networking hardware, are physical devices that are required for
communication and interaction between hardware on a computer network.
