2 Ways to Connect to a Network Printer

Work Instruction:

First Option:: ( Recommended )

1. Type http://phils12/printers/ in your Internet browser. You will see a similar

screen below

 2. Select the network printer you would like to connect at
at,, in this example I select
Quezon Room1.. Click CONNECT

This will install the printer driver and map this network printer in your list of local
printers

 Second Option

1. In RUN, type \\phils12

phils12, then OK

2. This will open all the printers connected to P

PHILS12
HILS12 which is our print server.
Select the printer you wish to connect at
at,

3. Right click on your mouse and select CONNECT

 4. This will add the Network Printer in your local printer list.

In some instance doing the Second option will require a printer driver. If this is the case,
it is recommended to use option 1. Following those steps will also install the printer
driver.
