Installation Procedure

Audience: PRST and IT Services

Version: 4.2 With HotFix

Work Instruction: Step by step instructions on how to perform the task

1. When you lunch the setup.exe of Gupta installer this will appear.

Click on the Next.

 2. After click the next button the license agreement will appear.

Click on I Accept then Click Next.

3. By Click Next button this image will appear and you need to input the Product Media
Code (PMC).

 Product Media Code (PMC) is a one license per use. Click on Next.

4. This part will show the destination folder.

Click on Next.

Click on Yes.

 5. It show the Program Folder

Click on Next.

6. It show the Features you need to install.

Uncheck the Team Object Manager, Web Extensions, And SQL Base Server and Tools.
Click on Next.

 7. It show the File Association.

Select No then Click Next.

Note: This form will appear 3 times just Select No then click on Next

8. Installation in Progress.

Wait for it to finish.

 9. It show the Registration form.

Register by filling out the fields with the credential of the user that going to need the
Gupta 2005.1. Click on Continue.

10. It will open an Internet Explorer to show the registration form.

Click on Register Online.

 11. It will show the 2nd registration form.

Input Confirm Email of the user.

Click on Register.

You can now close the Internet Explorer and wait for the Confirmation Email on MS
Outlook.

 12. Open MS Outlook and check for the Email for the Activation code of Gupta.

Copy The Product Activation Key.

 13. Now Open the Gupta 2005.1 on Start>> Program Files>> Gupta>> Gupta
TeamDeveloper 4.2>> Gupta SQL Windows 4.2
This screen will appear for you to activate the Gupta 4.2

Click on Activate.

14. Activation Form.

Paste the Copied Poduct Activation Key from the send email from Gupta.
Click OK.
