1. Role in your Final place of posting

 To assist the planning and implementation of stable and quality MW links for KTK
Network
 To release MW Tx link budget plan by understanding field survey report and Path
loss tool for roll out.
 To coordinate with cross functional Team and release site specification data to
OMCR for creation of New site data base for new roll out/reparenting/Swapping sites
 To upload and update KTK New/Existing site Radio and Transmission design
parameter data in Idea Universe regularly.
 To make neighbor planning for 3G-2G handover, in coordination with RF Planning
Team and MapInfo tool.
 To prepare and maintain data base of KTK sites for SACFA and TERM cell
compliance

2. Projects/ Assignments Undertaken and Key Outcomes of the same

 Completed loading of 5177 sites into IDEA Universe on RF portal for KTK Network
 Released RAICHUR_2-Q-(BSC) shifting TX plan for speedy implementation.
 Defined LAC for Belgeum, Bellary, Gadag and Raichur region after re-parenting of
four BSCs in North zone
 Involved in making plan for Project Suraksha-II to bring down dependency on GTL
sites which was going down during power issue.
 Take part in ongoing Project Saayon, MW swap and re-deployment plan to increase
Bandwidth

 KTK network planning, implementation, functional operation processes


 MW PDH & SDH equipments, their functional and operational knowledge
 Planning of TX Link budget, Attenuation by various factors impacting quality
network
 Optimally and effectively utilized higher band width links for KTK network
with Ipassolink 200/400/1000, swapping and re-deployment of pass link to
reduce operation cost
 E1 creation and provisioning in NMS
 Additional features of MAPINFO to create E1 mapping transmission path
 AIRCOM CONNECT- Microwave and backhaul planning Tool
 Personal effectiveness and communication skills as a part of HR training

6. Comments on your experience with the organization till now & suggestions (if any):

It has always been great to be a part in this organization; I have learnt many things from
my manager and other team members. They have always been co-operative with me.

Few of my accomplished moments with the organization:


During my first quarter in the company itself, I was appreciated by my manager and
vertical head when I did a small assignment that make me realized that whatever small or
big I contributed to the team or the organization is being appreciated. Last month only,
we started a project and I was given an opportunity to name the project in my regional
language and hence the project ‘Saayon’ was named. And I was given opportunities not
only to participate in webinar but also to attend a workshop on AIRCOM (a planning
tool) that is going to be held in Hyderabad. With this few experience I feel !dea has
given me a platform to learn new things that will help me in my career growth.
