Dear Admission Commitee members:
My name is Nguyen Ngoc Bich and I would like to explain my future study plan as followed:
I have loved traveling, exploring the culture, history and language of different countries since my
youth. Growing up, I realized that I have great passion in Service Industry, especially in Tourism
Industry. Since my sister is studying in Italy the last few years, I had the opportunity to travel to
Italy, Netherlands and Germany.
In June 2016, I was admitted to the Chinese Specialized class at the Foreign Language Specialized
School. School has given us the opportunity to exchange cultural exchanges with other countries,
especially with JingMei Girls High School in Taiwan. During a week staying in Taiwan, and hosting
JingMei students in Vietnam, I found that Taiwan has an interesting culture and history that is
comparable to European countries. In addition, Taiwanese people are also very friendly and
enthusiastic.

I have done online research in depth and discovered that tourism industry in Taiwan is currently
developing. Although being a small island in Asia, Taiwan has a very developed economy and is
one of the four dragons in Asia. That alone cannot deny the significant contribution of tourism to
the country's overall GDP. This is my motivation to study in such a destination, along with the
ability to apply what I learn to tourism industry in Vietnam.
With my passion for tourism, I have decided to apply for International Bachelor Program in
Tourism Management at the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism. I fully
understand how challenging my chosen course will be, as Tourism is an ever-changing industry. In
order for Vietnam to become a developed country, the service industry needs high-quality human
resources. Furthermore, the economic exchanges between Vietnam and Taiwan are growing,
creating more job opportunities for us in the future. I want to prepare myself as best as I can for a
successful career within the industry in the future.
Being accepted to National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, one of the best
universities in Taiwan, will increase my chance to get closer to my dream. I understand that the
University has a variety of scholarships, fully supports its students and encourages excellence. Their
expert faculty and advanced technologies will provide me with quality learning opportunities and
precious experiences after 4 terms. Therefore, my plan is to complete 4 years of university and
obtain basic, necessary skills before returning to my native country to start-up, to serve my country
as well as to take care of my family. Although Taiwan is an ideal place for settling down, it was
always my dream to be successful in my hometown not anywhere else.
As stated above, I am looking forward to receiving the consideration and acceptance from your
school. If I get accepted, I will assure that with my own ability, I can make full use of the
experience and become a role model student. I will strive to complete my course to mastery. Thank
