Tourism Manager / Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Tourism Manager / Director to oversee and
manage the operations of our tourism company. The ideal candidate will have a deep
understanding of the tourism industry and a proven track record of successful management
of tourism-related businesses. The Tourism Manager / Director will be responsible for the
overall strategic direction and growth of the company, ensuring high-quality services and
products, managing staff, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the company, the Tourism Manager /
Director should also be able to develop and implement effective marketing strategies to
promote the company and its services. This may include digital marketing campaigns,
content creation, and social media engagement.
Overall, the Tourism Manager / Director plays a crucial role in the success of the tourism
company, and the ideal candidate should possess the necessary skills, experience, and
passion to drive the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:

 Develop and implement the company's overall business strategy, including


marketing, sales, and operations.

 Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, including managing staff,


ensuring high-quality services and products, and overseeing financial performance.

 Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, suppliers, and partners in the
tourism industry.

 Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth
and development.

 Develop and maintain budgets, financial plans, and reports to monitor and manage
financial performance.

 Ensure that the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

 Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth and efficient
operation of the company.

 Manage and motivate staff, providing training and support to ensure high levels of
performance and job satisfaction.
 Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company and its services
to potential clients and partners.

 Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction to ensure continuous improvement of


services and products.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a


related field.
 At least 5 years of experience in tourism management or a related field.
 Proven track record of successful management of tourism-related businesses.
 Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 Experience with financial management and budgeting.
 Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
 Deep understanding of the tourism industry and market trends.
 Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
 Experience in managing and motivating staff.
 Fluency in English and other relevant languages is an advantage.

Working Conditions:
The Tourism Manager / Director will work in an office environment, with occasional travel
required for business meetings and events. The job may require working long hours,
including weekends and holidays, to meet project deadlines or to respond to emergencies.
