I have a preference for the Middle Atlantic region because I'm acquainted with it from my clinical rotations. Additionally, I have family and friends in
New York and Philadelphia. I appreciate the region's diverse culinary and cultural experiences, as well as its four distinct seasons.
I'm inclined to this region for its prestigious residency programs emphasizing academics and strong networking opportunities among residents, faculty,
and alumni. The significant presence of my community in this region will also offer me invaluable support during my residency training.
I'm drawn to this region because I've lived in Florida with my husband for the past 3 years and gained most of my US clinical experience here. The
coast, beaches, climate, and outdoor activities resonate and remind me of my home, and I also enjoy the diverse cultures and food options it offers.
I've lived in urban and suburban settings in my home country and the United States. During medical school, I completed clinical rotations in both
suburban and rural areas. My main goal is to provide patient care and contribute positively to society, so I'm open to working in different
environments.

Impactful Experience
During my medical school rotation in a rural area, I witnessed several cases of lack of medical education, awareness and resources. One
heartbreaking incident involved a woman who was suffering with undiagnosed advanced breast cancer stage. In response, we organized several
medical training camps where I actively participated to help the community, deepening my commitment to healthcare education and awareness. This
experience left an enduring impression on me, reinforcing the critical importance of education and awareness in preventing diseases. I am confident
that pursuing a residency program will furnish me with advanced medical expertise and access to state-of-the-art equipment, enabling me to make a
significant contribution to society.
