1
INTRODUCTON

A fire safety plan is a detailed document that guiding the organization on procedures in the
event of a fire incident. The plan will outline,a safe and orderly way for occupants to evacuate
the building, proper maintenance and housekeeping required to prevent fires, methods of control
that minimize the damage from fires when they do occur.Plans should be specific to the
property or business. Conducting an audit or review of the property or business will help identify
factors that could affect fire safety.Items in this audit include site layout, points of entry and
exit, roadways, use of the building, where and how items are stored, how items are used, water or
fire department connections, alarm systems, sprinkler systems and many other factors.Fire safety
plans also should provide employees or building occupants with the instructions they need to
leave the building (or respond as appropriate) in the event of a fire.

2
THREE EFFECTIVE FIRE SAFETY PLAN

First of all is fire preventation. The best fire fighting measure in fire safety plan is prevention. It
is important that workers are trained on fire safety in order for them to develop heightened
awareness about fire hazards especially at offices, factories, school and shophouses. They
should be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and the operation of fire protection
equipment included at private houses.Fire risk assessments are also necessary as they provide
insight on which hazards are present and the necessary measures to manage their risk.Safety
officers or the owners of private houses can utilize fire safety checklists to conduct
comprehensive checks of these aspects of the fire safety plan.

Besides that,is fire fighting.Every private properties,houses,schools,factories,offices and

shophouses should have any fire fighting equipment for active fire protection. This equipments is
fire alarms, fire extinguisher, fire sprinkler systems and smoke detectors. They should have
regular inspections to ensure they are functional at all times. That means the fire fighting and
protection system should be plan and design by appropriately by safety officers, engineering
teams or private person. This is the first thing the people will rely on in case of an incipient fire.

Other than that is the emergency evacuation. That is was really important things to do when a
fire occurs inside a building, whether it’s at home, office, factory and so on. Although individuals
can fight incipient fires with fire fighting equipment, the management should still put importance
on how to safely evacuate the people during a fire emergency. That’s why everyone should
know the emergency evacuation plan, which includes contact details of safety
authorities, emergency exit map,and other fire emergency protocols when it’s comes to
unexpected fire.

3
TWO FORMS OF FIRE CONTROLS METHOD.

First of all is cooling.By the removing the heat,it is very effective fire control method. The main
character in this method is waters. When the heat has generated by the fire, the heat will
absorbed by the water as long as the water can still absorb the heat. However, when the fire was
involved in electricity, oil, fat, grease and flammable liquids, the waters should never be used to
controls the fire. That will makes it getting more widespread.

The last but not the least is starving the fire. It’s important to make sure the fire was starved
from its fuel sources. The fire will eventually burn out itself when it runs out of flammable
materials. For example,a bonfire in the open when it is not in contact with any other wood or dry
grass will ultimately lose its blaze. In a gas fire situations,it will immediately extinguish if the gas
supply is cut off. The same method is applied to your gas stove or bunsen burner.

4
CONCLUSION.

Fire safety is the set of practices intended to reduce destruction caused by fire. Fire safety
measures include those that are intended to prevent the ignition of an uncontrolled fire and
those that are used to limit the spread and impact of a fire.
