Essay

The provided pie charts depict the level of satisfaction of two types of students:
undergraduates and postgraduates about the diversity of books and non-print materials from
their university’s library.

From an overall perspective, it is remarkable that postgraduate students expressed more

dissatisfaction for the aforementioned categories, while the opposite is true for the freshmen
and full-time university students.

In terms of the variety of books, 37% of the undergraduate students possessed a high level
of contentment for this category, while that of their counterparts was occupied for less than
20%. The proportion of students who were fairly satisfied made up for more than a third,
despite that of postgraduates was only 28%. Half of the latter group were disappointed by
the diversity of books, whereas 28% of the former were discontented.

With regards to non-print materials, over one half of the undergraduate group was highly
pleased by this area; however, only 12% of the postgraduates had the same outlook.
Approximately 20% of students from both surveyed groups were pleased votedby the
provision of the material as good, followed by that of discontented freshmen, at 12%, while
the percentage of postgraduates who were disaffected was precisely 62%.
