Affirmative sentences
We use the Present Simple to talk
about something that:
1. it is true in the present.
2. it happens regularly in the
present.
3. it is always true.
Negative sentences
Do and does are used to make
negatives.
We use doesn't only for the third
person singular (she/he/it) and
don't for the other (I/ we/ you/
they).
Interrogative sentences
We use do and does to make
QUESTIONS in the Present
Simple. We use does for the third
person singular (she/he/it) and
do for the others.
 PRESENT CONTINUOUS

We can use the present continuous to talk about things we are doing now.

I play basketball every Sunday.

I'm playing hockey now.
She eats fruit every day.
She's eating an apple now.

For the present continuous, use am, is or are and ing. For
the negative, use not.
I'm going to the park now. I'm not going to school.
She's studying English now. She isn't studying maths.
