Most students are dealing with stress when it comes to exam period.
A mount of exams at short time is
overwhelmed with the result, that students are not allowed to enjoy any free time. In order to feel more relaxed, our system is challenged to find new solutions. But how can this be achieved? I will explain two ways of suggestion and indicate which of them I think would be more effective. One important role have the teachers themselves. They could be more suppotive for the students. For example, the students can voluntarily choose a consultation with a teacher, where they discuss strategies how to divide all the tasks. In addition they could make some examples of well structured timetables to split the work. As a consequence, the learners do not get the tasks done at the last minute and therefore feel utterly exhausted. Another significant role is offering the students time for their relaxation and leisure activities. As a proposal, the university could write timetables where leisure actvities are obligatory. It is important that for everyone is an offer like doing yoga or playing in a team. Therefore the students are forced to relax and enjoy the leisure time. It is proved that sports absolutely help to support leraning sessions and make them more effective. As a conclusion, the two significant propositions above are very important but, in my opinion the teachers have a bigger impact on the students by supporting them with strategies, so that they can relax by themselves and use their freetime otherwise.
