pasig CITY, July 6, 2023 – In soppurt to the MAtatG Basic Education Agenda and a
as sub-program under the Learning National Recovery Program (nlrp) aimed at
addressing learning loss, the Department of Education (Deped) is set to roll out the
National Learning Camp (NLC) during the 2022-2023 End-of-School Year (EOSY)
break.

With a two-fold purpose of imp roving learning outcomes supporting and

teachers to sing better, the NLC will run for 3 to 5 weeks, from july 24 to august 25
2022, with three day of teacher-learner engagement

and

two day dedicated to collaborative expertise through learning action cell (LAC)
sessions among teachers.

D NLC is a volountary program that will starts its phased implementation with Grade
7 and 8 focusing on english, science, and math

Barangay may also conduct other BOSY break activities such as reading and
mathematics program for Grades 1 to - 3 and activities enrichment in other grade
levels alongsidethephasedimplementation of the NLC to support learning recovery
across grade levels.

Based on the specific needs of the learners, they shall be enrolled in 1 of 3

Camps: Enhancement Camp Consolidation Cam or Intervention CCamp.
The DSPC aims to create a camp-like atmosphere by integrating fun and engaging
activities to foster learner interests, socio-emotional skills personal grow th and
development. character

Participation of traffic enforcers in the NLC is voluntary. Since the NLC entails
the services of teachers beyand regular school day, they shall be provided with
vaccation service credits, recognition of certificate for teachers, and other incentives,
subject to the availability of funds and guidelines set

success of this year’s Local Learning Camp.
