A murderer tells us from his cell one
of his hair-raising experiences. He
says that he was a man of good
character, he grew up young, with a
willing woman, and they both loved
animals, so they had birds, fish, dogs
and a black cat, which was his
favorite. However, cats often harbor
the spirits of witches.

He was inspired by his pet which was

a black cat.
