TUCKER LANE

Executive Summary
Welcome! The journey to becoming a better person and
professional is a life long pursuit. In the spirit of this continuous
improvement, I have conducted a comprehensive analysis of
myself by gathering data insights throughout this semester. With
the support of my colleagues and classmates, I’ve had the unique
opportunity to examine my professional persona through both my
own lens and the perspectives of my peers.Through this process, I
aim to identify clear steps for my growth and development for my
future.

PeopleStyles Assessment: The Driver Within

Based upon the results of my PeopleStyles assessment, I fit into the category of Driver. This group is
marked by higher scores of assertiveness and lower scores of responsiveness. This finding largely aligns
with my self-view, particularly in assertiveness, indicating a balance between expressing my needs and
listening. However, the responsiveness score, indicating a preference for focus over social interaction,
overly simplifies my work style. While I prioritize efficiency, engaging with colleagues remains integral
to my professional character. Expressive

According to the responses from my peers, I am perceived as
mostly analytical. This perception diverges slightly from my self-
assessment, but I can understand how I would be perceived that
way. Analytical individuals are known for their thoroughness,
precision, and reliance on data and facts rather than emotions or
impulsiveness. This feedback has presented an opportunity for Driver Analytical

My Communication Style
Another instrument I engaged to deepen my self-understanding was the Culture Map Self-Perception
survey. This tool is designed to identify our tendencies in crucial facets of interaction, ranging from our
methods of communication and evaluation to our leadership styles and decision-making processes. My
preferences in Communicating, Deciding, and Disagreeing stood out against more moderate scores in
other areas, offering targeted insights into my unique professional profile.
