have a lot of wall space, so instead I put this on a tri-fold display board and covered it with clear

Also, it gives me a chance to reward those students who always complete their homework. Students
will roll the dice and move their little marker to the correct spot. If they land on trivia - the teacher
asks the student a question specific to that subject. Two or more players may rest on the same space
at the same time. Every Friday (sometimes Monday, depending on our schedule), the students who
turned in all assignments on time get to shake dice and move their clothespin around the board. Each
student has a marker (not included) and rolls the dice if they have turned in all of their homework. If
the player says the prayer correctly, they stay where they are. I was so inspired by all of the teachers

GO Each time a player's marker lands on or passes over “GO”, whether by throwing the dice or
drawing a card, the student may receive a little prize, such as picking a piece of sugarless gum or
little trinket out of the pencil box of goodies, Bible Bucks or whatever the teacher thinks is an
appropriate prize. While the kids were working on classwork, I called each kid up to complete the
number of rolls they had earned. I created Chance and Community Lunchbox cards (template on
teachnet.com). The prizes I wrote on there are the same ones on the prize sheet. Now to roll this out
in my classroom; I give my students their homework packet on Monday. Here's a list of the rewards:
(sometimes I duplicated the reward by changing the time). Reproduction or retransmission of any

my students who don't enjoy doing their homework to see that there are some advantages to
completing homework other than just grades. Though it seemed like a disaster at first, I figured it out
(and students figured out how to complete their homework), and thus, Homeworkopoly in 5th grade
began. I was so excited to finally be able to put it up in my classroom, but had to wait until now to
hang it all up and assemble it. We did this today. I knew the first time would take a little longer.

My first debate was where on Earth I was going to put it. It works just like the real game, but with a
