LARONG PINOY

GENERAL MECHANICS
1. Each team shall be composed of twelve (12) players.
2. Strictly follow the players’ composition:
3 male students
3 female students
2 male parents
2 female parents
1 male teacher
1 female teacher
3. List of official participants must be submitted to the organizers (RDNEB/ EsP Department) on
or before February 23, 2024.
4. Members must wear their team shirt color. No uniform means no play.
5. Prepare a one- minute yell for the presentation of participants.
6. There will be 4 game stations to be played simultaneously. They are as follows:
Station 1: Tug of War- Team 1 and 2
Station 2: Centipede- Team 3 and 4
Station 3: Sack Race- Team 5 and 6
Station 4: Ping Pong Ball Relay- Team 7 and 8
7. Declared winners in each station will move to the FINALS- an Obstacle Race.
8. Winners will receive a Certificate and Cash Prizes

STATION GAMES GUIDELINES AND


MECHANICS
Station 1: Tug of War
Number of Players: 12
Game Mechanics:
1. Team Setup: Two teams will compete per round, with an equal number of twelve (12)
players on each side. Each team stands on opposite ends of the designated playing area.
2. The Rope: The rope will have a red flag in the center to indicate the midpoint.
3. Starting Position: Each team starts by gripping the rope firmly, with their feet behind the
designated line.
4. Countdown: The facilitator will initiate the game by counting down (e.g., "Three, two,
one, go!").
5. Tugging Phase: Once the countdown reaches "go," both teams should begin pulling on
the rope with the goal of dragging the opposing team across the line on their side of the
playing area.
6. Technique and Strategy: Players can employ various techniques and strategies to gain
an advantage, such as coordinated pulling, adjusting their grip on the rope, and shifting
their weight.
7. Winning Condition: The game ends when one team successfully pulls the marker past
their own line and they will be declared as the winner.

Station 2: The Centipede


Number of Players: 12
Game Mechanics:
1. All the participants of each team should step inside the big sack and
wait for the signal to start.
2. When the game master signals, the participants should start walking
simultaneously with their hands held up high while holding the sack.
3. In case any member/s of the group accidentally went out of the line,
the whole team should go back to the starting line.
4. Upon reaching the End Line, they will turn in the opposite direction and
go back to the Starting line. The first team to reach the said line will be
declared as the winner.

Station 3: Group Sack Race


Number of players: 6 (one male and one female in each composition)
Game Mechanics:
1. Each member per group shall wear a sack leveling around their waist.
2. On the mark, first participant begins hopping, walking, or running
towards the finish line.
3. Contestants must keep both feet in sack and at least one hand on the
sack at all times.
4. The sack must remain as close to the waist as possible and should not
fall below the knees.
5. The second person in the line will join the first player in wearing the sack
and they need to hop together towards the finish line. Repeat the
process until all six (6) players will get in the sack.
6. The team who raced first wins!

Station 4: PING- PONG BALL RELAY


Number of players: 12
Game Mechanics:

OBSTACLE COURSE
To test participants' agility, strength, and endurance, winning team per station shall play a
series of physical challenges such as running, climbing, jumping, crawling, and balancing. The
team who raced fast wins!
