Content INTRODUCTION OF QUADRILATERAL

Content Standard The learner demonstrates understanding of key concepts of
parallelograms and triangle similarity.
Performance Standard The learners are able to investigate, analyze, and solve problems
involving parallelograms and triangle similarity through appropriate
and accurate representation.
Learning Competency The learners determine the conditions that make a quadrilateral a
parallelogram.
Objectives At the end of the discussion the students can:
a. define what is quadrilateral;
b. identify its name, pair of opposite angles, pair of consecutive sides
and diagonals of a quadrilateral; and
c. apply quadrilateral in real-life situations.

ANALYSIS/LESSON DEVELOPMENT
The teacher will discuss about the definition of a quadrilateral.
Afterwards, she will be discussing about how to name a
quadrilateral, identify its opposite angles, pair of consecutive angles
and diagonals.

ABSTRACTION/GUIDED PRACTICE
Do you see any of the quadrilateral polygons inside the
classroom, around the gymnasium or in your house?
Is the quadrilateral important in our life?

Give the possible name of a quadrilateral figure given below.
