The control system works just as good on a 0.3 m/s standard hydraulic lift in single control as on a high speed high rise traction lift with group control. The control system can be connected direetly to a PC or to the RJ45 Ethernet port (10Base-T, TCP/IP) for Internet monitoring using the KI-GATE website. The system can be ‘connected as a single system or a8 a group control for monitoring. All maintenance such as software update, parameters save and load, can be done through the website. Alarm messages can be sent as E-Mail, SMS, or be monitored through the website. All events can be stored and search for in a data base. When the controller and other peripherals are plugged in, internal components and circuit boards will be live, this voltage is extremely dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. The contol system and other associated equipment must only be handled by qualified personnel. Insulation test may only be made in safety circuits. ‘The control system is safety tested and approved under the current standard and no changes may be made without the agreement of Kinds Elteknik AB. Consequently, this means that only sparepars from Kinds Elteknik AB may be used. Replacement of spare pars in the control system and peripherals must be made with. ‘caution and take into account ESD safety. Replacement of spare parts inside the control system can only be made by Kinds Elteknik AB. All installation work must be done when the device is separated from the mains. The unit is installed in a junction box on the car roof and communicates with the central unit via @ 2-wire bus. Operation Basic rules for system work ‘= Beore any work is started, make sure that no unauthorized personel is in the car, follow the safety procedures in Chapter 1 and press the EMERGENCY STOP on the control cabinet before use of any buttons. The lift should be taken out of service. One of the types isthe information window that is calld Status report. The other information window can be found in the Menu, 1 Info. 5A Status report Status report is what the display normally shows and this gives an review of the lifts status. Confirm the choice by pressing Enter, Move the cursor with down arrow to 34 Alarm. Confirm with Enter. The display will now look like the image below. The last 50 alarms and events will be stored in this menu. The first window will show alarm no, O which is the last (present) alarm/event. (This will also be stored under Menu>Info 1.18.) ‘The first line indicates the alarm no. and the position ofthe lit when the alarm occurred. F indicates floor and NN the next stop according to the same principal as status report ‘The second line indicates date and time forthe alarm. ‘The line LS indicates the alarm and HS indicates the event atthe time the alarm occurred which means that both alarms and events are stored at each alarm moment.
