says. I find that having a desire to learn and participate makes it a little easier. This blog is to share
some of my ideas that I use in my church classes, in seminary and some that I have used in my home.

fascinating. Also, for a long time, women with young children in the home couldn’t teach full-time. I
loved it when I was a seminary teacher and now love teaching institute as well. I do, so every now
and then I put together a simple group activity. There are online seminary instructors, there are stake
seminary supervisors, there are substitute teachers and many professionals who work for the Mormon
church’s seminaries and institute programs with this singular objective: “Our purpose is to help youth
and young adults understand and rely on the teachings and Atonement of Jesus Christ, qualify for
the blessings of the temple, and prepare themselves, their families, and others for eternal life with
their Father in Heaven.”. I have seen them become productive, happy, successful young adults who
are now my friends and associates. Teaching in the morning is a challenge for all involved but it is
rewarding as well. Because of this daily prolonged contact that I have had with them I have had
many opportunities to observe them in all areas and share wonderful experiences with them, possible
only second to their own parents. Historically, seminary teachers work about 30 years before retiring.

through the Book of Mormon is to identify the lies of the devil that are exposed in the Book of

My Personal Love For LDS Seminary as a LDS Seminary Teacher For the past eight years I have had

also offered in the college and university level, and is called Institute. This one is easy. After I give

Marie on September 30, 2010: This is my first year of seminary, and so far I really like it. Each of the
four wards in the Tokyo Japan South (English speaking) Stake has a before-school international
seminary class overlaid by daily seminary classes in the Japanese stakes. They were to come up with
clever ways to get their scripture study in each day and then share their ideas with the class. Typical

As Christine has said about 2 years ago, I too am teaching my 2 children seminary, but love it. But
the 91-year-old American Fork resident has been around for most of them. I want the kids to think
that I am the best teacher ever and really love seminary more than their pillow. We were lucky to
