Load combina ons from SANS 10160

Combination 1 Please check all load combinations. In most cases you will have
dead load (Dn) and live load (Qn). in this case, Make sure you
check combinations 1 and 2, and use the one which gives you
Combination 2 the heaviest load.

When you have wind load as well, in addition to dead and live
Combination 3 load, please check all 4 combinations.

Combination 4 When you have only dead load, then use only combination 1
