Backpack The yellow lining is a repurposed

I was inspired by Star Wars fabric
found in my attic. It is a non-
stretch cotton, so I put elastic in

make it fit to my body. The pants
have a top button, zipper, and two
front pockets.

made using my original patterns. I
have not taken any pattern making
courses.

Sample #4, commissioned for a drag performance
My inspiration, from Mindy Lamour
on Etsy. I was asked to recreate the Mock-up front
look but with custom sizing.

I sketched my garment pattern on Illustrator, the darts were Mock-up back


important because it is a non stretch fabric and they had a large
bust. I created pointy shoulder pads out of foam, then inserted and
attached them to create a sturdy shape.

Some of the starting I layered felt on fabric to
materials and tools. get dimension, leaving
gaps for potted plants.

leaving some loose felt, but
ultimately decided I prefer the
dense look.
I learned how to needle felt in 2020 as a way
to pass time in quarentine. The process is labor
intensive but very satisfying.
