I. OBJECTIVES Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standers. To meet the objectives necessary procedures must be followed and if needed additional lessons, exercises and
remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing objectives support the learning of content

A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates understanding of the elements of Islam:

Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a lifetime)

B. Performance Standards The learners:
conducts a panel discussion on Muslim beliefs and practices (when possible inviting a Muslim).
C. Most Essential Learning *Examine the brief history, core teachings, fundamental beliefs, practices, and related issues of Christianity.
Competencies/Objectives At the end of the lesson, the learners are expected to:
1. identify the unifying ideas in Islam;
2. Eunderstand and identify Islam Sacred Scriptures; and
3. know the worships and observances; their belief and doctrines, similarities with other religion; subdivision of the religion.
