EXPLORING THE CULTURAL ENVIRONMENT.

1. In Art or IPS, an artist gets the source of inspiration from the environment. Try to identify the other kinds
of environment apart from the cultural environment where the artist can get the inspiration from.
b). Describe the two kinds of environment listed above.
c). Identify the elements and princioles one can use to come up with a drawing such as a bucket or drum.
d). Draw and name atleast three objects that an artist can use to form acomposition from the cultural
environment.

purposes. As a semi-candidate, define the following terms;

c). Dsecribe the techniques of decorating ceramics and pottery.

5. Mr. Kalusi is making research about the history of Art in order to improve on his Artworks. As an
Artist, describe the pre-historical Art by following the artworks style of painting, techniques and periods.
6. In summary, write about Egyptian Art by describing the reasons for Egyptian art, Artworks and
characteristics of the artworks that were produced.
7. Write the characteristics of the Artworks that were used in different periods of Greek Art.
8. Rome Art was a continuity of Greek Art, Identify the different Artworks that were produced in
Roman Art and their characteristics.
