 Definition of prayer
The definition of prayer according to etymology is
prayer and praise, the definition of prayer
according to terminology is "Some words and
actions that begin with takbir and end with salam,
with certain conditions and pillars".

 The Priority of
Fardhu Prayer
1. Shalat can prevent cruel and evil
actions
By praying correctly and fervently, we
can strengthen our spiritual resilience
and avoid sins and disgraceful actions.
2. Shalat is the best practice after the
two sentences of the shahada
When Ibn Mas'ud asked Rasulullah, "What is
the most afdhal (best) practice?",
Rasulullah firmly answered, "Praying at the
right time." This shows how important it is
to maintain quality and punctuality in
carrying out prayers as the most
important act of worship.
 3. Shalat can erase sins
Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said that performing the five
daily prayers, from the Fajr prayer to the Isha prayer, as well as
Friday prayers every week, and fasting during the month of Ramadan
from one Ramadan to the next, has the potential to erase the sins
committed in between that time.
4. Allah elevates one's rank through prayer
By praying more, a person shows sincerity in worshiping Allah. Allah
promises that every prostration performed sincerely will be elevated in
rank. This means that Allah will elevate a person's position and status
with Him as a form of reward for the obedience and devotion he
shows.
5. Can get intercession on the Day of
Judgment
Shalat is a light that illuminates the
path of a Muslim's life, is proof of
faith and obedience to Allah, and is a
means of salvation from torment on
the Day of Judgment.
