homographs and their meanings.

Now, I will give you a sentences
containing homographs. You will
need to read each sentence
carefully and choose the correct
meaning of the homograph based
on the context. Work on it
individually, and let me know when
you're done.

1. Bat – I saw a bat flying in
the sky.

the ball with his bat.

Now that we have practiced
identifying and understanding
homographs, let's summarize what
we have learned.
