Task 1:

Illustrated in the given bar chart is information regarding the number of foreign visitors
among 4 X countries between 2007 and 2008. The table below compares yearly earnings of
those countries in several businesses during the same period. Overall, every single country
witnessed a decline in the number of tourists and business income during the examined period.
Another striking feature is that initially,in 2007, Chinese and Japanese visitors and hotels &
resorts income held the highest position, which were surpassed by Australian visitors and
Restaurant, Bar & Souvenir Shops earnings in the next years.
In 2007, the number of travelers visiting China and Japan accounted for approximately
3,000 thousand people, with about 2,800 thousand in it for Australia. However, after 1 year,
there was a substantial decline in tourists in both countries, dropping to about 2,000 thousand
respectively. Similarly, Europe and the US & Canada experienced the same trend, with visitor
numbers sharply decreasing from around 200 thousand in 2007 to about 1,000 thousand and
350 thousand in 2008 respectively.
Regarding the businesses’ incomes, accommodation and resorts started with the highest
earnings at 3.5 million dollars, which also experienced the most dramatic reduction to nearly the
lowest number at 0.5 million in 2008. Similar changes can be noticed in Transportation & Travel
Agents, which dramatically dropped from 1.3 to 0.4 million dollars. Additionally, the rest of the
list saw slight declines from 2.4 million dollars in Restaurant, Bar & Souvenir Shops and 1.4
million dollars in Tour Guides, Small Vendors, and Other Services to 1.2 and 1.1 million dollars,
respectively, in order. By the end of the period, Restaurant, Bar & Souvenir Shops held the
largest position, while Transportation & Travel Agents accounted for the minority.
Task 2:
It has been considered that peer pressure plays a significant role in shaping the
behaviors and decisions of young individuals. While some are concerned about the potential
ramifications of adopting negative behaviors and the psychological impact ,I’m the one who
strongly advocates that it tangible merits of social integration and risk management is far
greater.

It is understandable why some subscribe to the notion that peer pressure can lead to the
adoption of risky habits such as drug abuse, reckless driving, or participating in criminal
activities. The key rationale behind this is that young people may be vulnerable to peer pressure
and social elimination, that why they thirst to gain acceptance within their peer group, regardless
of the potential consequences in their actions. Additionally, there are advocates claiming that
the unseen pressure to keep up with peer expectations can have a negative impact on the
mental health of young people. Negative peer pressure frequently results in anxiety, stress, and
depression as individuals may feel afraid or insecure when trying to keep up with peer
standards. On these counts, it seems reasonable to understand why there are distinct
disadvantages of peer pressure.

Despite the aforementioned line of reasoning, I place more emphasis on its positive
impact. This is predicated on the grounds that peer pressure can foster a sense of
belongingness and social integration among young people. In seeking acceptance and approval
from their peers, young individuals may also be motivated to acquire new skills, knowledge, and
perspectives through peer interactions, which can contribute to their personal development. A
further convincing demonstration is shown that young people might enhance their risk
management ability after experienced peer pressure For instance , peers may discourage each
other from participating in activities that pose significant risks to their health or well-being,
promoting safety and responsible decision-making. This is powerful testament to demonstrate
why peers pressure is crucial for young people.
In conclusion, although peer pressure is remain detrimental to some extent, I am of the opinion
that it is overall beneficial. In fact, the negative behavior and mental problem fail to undermine
the discussed advantages, namely social integration and risk management
