In my past roles at Publicis Sapient and Capgemini, I've played a pivotal role in driving collaboration with
external technical teams to bring products to fruition as part of product delivery. At Publicis Sapient, as a
Product Manager, I led seamless interactions with client-side technical teams, fostering a deep
understanding of their needs while aligning them with the product vision and objectives. Through daily
interactions with Technical Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Scrum Masters during Backlog
Refinement calls, I ensured that our products not only met but exceeded customer expectations.

Crafting the roadmap for a Global Reservation System at Publicis Sapient involved extensive discussions
with Engineering Leads, Technical Product Owners, and Business Analysts. I meticulously delved into the
intricacies of booking and Loyalty awards workflows, tailoring solutions that resonated with end-users
and earned their trust. My proactive approach included creating a comprehensive Business Context
Diagram mapping the Inbound and Outbound systems, customer journey flow, fostering constructive
discussions with Tech Managers, and ensuring a cohesive understanding of the solution landscape.

Additionally, I showcased our product's capabilities through regular feature demos and walkthroughs for
client teams, illustrating the value proposition directly to stakeholders such as System/Software
Engineers, Quality Assurance specialists, and DevOps professionals. This hands-on approach fostered
deeper appreciation and understanding of our solutions, reinforcing our commitment to delivering
customer-centric products. I ensured that every team member had a comprehensive understanding of the

a/Systems Design/API:
In my role as a Product Manager overseeing the Global Reservation System, I worked closely with
technical teams, offering insights into the impact of system design and API decisions on product
functionality. Working alongside the Tech Architect, I contributed both functionally and technically to
craft a robust system design that seamlessly integrated external APIs into our codebase.
One notable instance of this collaboration was spearheading the requirements for the Hotel Detail page. I
engaged with third-party providers to ensure comprehensive data integration through API contracts,
detailing the exchange of 50 essential fields. Additionally, during the data migration to Salesforce, I
facilitated the adaptation of existing API contracts to seamlessly accommodate new features. For instance,
I supervised the updating of payment processing APIs to incorporate support for gift cards and Digital
Wallets, thereby enhancing our platform's flexibility and customer convenience in payment options.
Throughout various stages of product planning and development, I actively participated in discussions
concerning API functionalities. My ability to connect requirements with our Business Context Diagram
(BCD) and third-party integrations greatly facilitated effective communication, translating technical
concepts into actionable insights for product enhancement.

This collaborative effort with the technical teams played a pivotal role in driving product improvements
and ensuring seamless integration with external platforms. It showcased my aptitude for translating
business needs into tangible technical solutions, underscoring my proficiency in navigating complex

b/Distributed Systems Architecture

As a Product Manager overseeing the Global Reservation System, my collaboration with the technical
team has been instrumental in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and overall efficiency of our platform.

For example, the Global Reservation System I worked upon was structured around a microservices
architecture, which revolutionized our approach to handling various functionalities. We divided the
system into distinct microservices, with each tasked to handle specific functionalities. For example, the
Booking Service managed booking requests, verified room availability, and confirmed reservations, while
the Inventory Service oversaw the management of available rooms and updated availability status. This
microservices approach significantly enhanced our agility, scalability, and fault isolation, empowering us
to develop, deploy, and scale each component independently. As a result, we experienced streamlined
development cycles and greater adaptability to evolving demands.

Additionally, in anticipation of peak booking periods such as Thanksgiving or Christmas in USA, we


strategically implemented load balancing mechanisms to ensure optimal performance and resource
utilization. By distributing incoming requests across multiple instances of each microservice through load
balancers, we maintained a balanced workload across our system. This not only improved response times
and reliability but also ensured seamless scalability to accommodate surges in demand. These load
balancing strategies led to notable improvements in system responsiveness and customer satisfaction
during high-traffic periods, reinforcing the effectiveness of our approach.

Overall, by leveraging a microservices architecture and implementing robust load balancing techniques
allowed us to build a scalable, reliable, and efficient platform. These efforts not only met the needs of our
hotel chain but also delivered an exceptional booking experience for guests, ultimately contributing to
enhanced customer satisfaction and business growth.

c/Developing and Delivering Technical Product Roadmaps


I possess a robust background in developing and delivering technical product roadmaps, as highlighted
by my experience crafting the strategic roadmap for a global reservation system used by about 8500
associates.
To begin, I conducted thorough research, gathering insights from stakeholders and engaging in in-depth
interviews with travel associates. This comprehensive approach provided deep insights into the
challenges within booking and payment workflows, laying a solid foundation for roadmap development.
By building a solid backlog of potential features, I leveraged methodologies such as MoSCoW, Impact Vs
Effort and WSJF framework, and meticulously prioritized features such as CC retention and Quick Book
Flow, aligning them with user experience enhancement and overarching business objectives.

This led to creation of a strategic roadmap prioritized into 4 wave sequences, each spanning 6 months.
This strategic approach yielded remarkable outcomes, including an 8% reduction in average call handling
time within a mere 6-month timeframe. This approach resulted in an impressive 90% accuracy in
projected burndowns and revenue forecasts, showcasing my ability to deliver tangible results.
Throughout the roadmap development process, I fostered a culture of transparency and collaboration,
ensuring stakeholders were consistently informed and engaged. For instance, I regularly organized cross-
functional meetings to discuss progress and solicit feedback, ensuring agile adaptation to evolving market
dynamics and conditions.

For optimizing the cost which client was incurring with respect to usage of Customer Executive time, I
conducted an in-depth analysis to dissect customer interactions to uncover recurring pain points within
our platform. Notably, I identified significant challenges surrounding user accessibility to vital support
resources like the 'Contact Us' section and the intricacies of cancellation procedures. To solve these
issues and enhance user satisfaction, I spearheaded strategic optimizations. This included a
comprehensive overhaul of our platform's interface, ensuring seamless access to support features across
all pages. Additionally, I streamlined our cancellation process and implemented proactive communication
strategies to pre-emptively address user concerns, effectively reducing support inquiries and associated
costs.
Recognizing the potential of AI-driven solutions in bolstering operational efficiency and revenue
generation, I proposed the integration of Chatbot/Gen AI functionalities to improve the productivity of
call center executives further, and by leveraging these technologies, we not only bolstered operational
efficiency but also unlocked new revenue streams by optimizing support resources.
Furthermore, I conducted an in-depth analysis of the client's business to identify opportunities for
expansion. This led to the integration of HVMI business into our reservation system alongside hotels,
diversifying our offerings and maximizing revenue streams while leveraging existing infrastructure and
call center services effectively.
Moreover, I explored opportunities to leverage other client products/channels to enhance revenue
generation for our reservation system. By identifying and capitalizing on previously untapped revenue
sources through strategic cross-selling initiatives, we seamlessly integrated additional services such as
insurance, cab bookings, and leisure activities into our reservation system, capturing additional revenue
streams and enhancing customer satisfaction levels.
Through these strategic initiative drawn out of my detailed analysis, I not only drove significant revenue
growth but also optimized operational costs, highlighting my expertise in product pricing and cost
optimization. These initiatives not only delivered exceptional value to the customers but also positioned
them for sustained success in an ever-evolving market landscape.

Q3) What has been the most complex contribution you have made to a product?

The most complex contribution I have made to a product was during the time, I led the Digital
Transformation initiative for a leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) client, and we were tasked with
delivering a suite of digital manufacturing and Industrial IoT solutions. The complexity stemmed from
various factors, primarily centered around change management and technology adoption.
At the time, the industry was still heavily reliant on manual processes, and there was significant
resistance to adopting new software and technologies. Convincing the client of the need for Digital
Transformation and helping them understand the value proposition of these new tools was a
monumental challenge. I had to thoroughly understand the ground zero, identify pain points, assess the
current state, and articulate why Digital Transformation was essential and how it could benefit the
organization.

Moreover, as the client was a market leader and one of the first companies to embrace Industrial IoT
solutions at such a large scale, there was added pressure to ensure successful adoption and integration of
these technologies. This required navigating organizational hierarchies, addressing cultural barriers, and
building trust among stakeholders.

One of my significant contributions was in providing actionable insights to the client through
comprehensive dashboards and reports using advanced visualization tools like GE Proficy Visualization. I
took ownership of developing dashboards that offered visibility into machine performance and quality
control data, empowering decision-makers with real-time information. Initially, generating reports took
hours of manual effort, but through the implementation of dashboards, this process was streamlined to
mere seconds, significantly enhancing decision-making capabilities and response times. By bridging the
gap between technology and business objectives, my contributions played a pivotal role in driving the
adoption of Digital Manufacturing initiatives and ensuring the success of the overall Digital
Transformation program.

Q4) What products, if any, have you worked on from end-to-end and in what capacity did
you contribute to the product? Please identify if any were in the SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS space.

In my role as a Product Manager, I owned and led the development of the Reservation App utilized by
internal customer service associates for a leading hospitality chain. This product was as a Software as a
Service (SaaS) solution, was a major component of our client's operations, enabling call center agents to
efficiently book and manage reservations, accommodate customer requests, and process cancellations.

Throughout the product lifecycle, I collaborated closely with key stakeholders, including clients, technical
architects, product owners and members of the tech team. My responsibilities encompassed gathering
and prioritizing requirements, defining product features, and ensuring alignment with the client's
objectives and technical specifications.

From conceptualization to deployment, I played a central role in driving the product forward, leveraging
my expertise in product management and domain knowledge of the hospitality industry. By facilitating
seamless communication between stakeholders and guiding the development team, I ensured that the
Reservation App met the highest standards of quality, usability, and functionality.

In addition to my professional experience, there are several aspects I would like to highlight that I believe
