On March 7th, 2024, Cambridge grade 7th and 8th students with their teachers, visited Khanna

Chikan Emporium, renowned for its timeless Chikankari clothes, as a part of the experiential learning
project on chikankari. The trip enriched their understanding of Lucknowi Chikankari's cultural,
historical, and contemporary significance. Students interviewed seasoned artisans, gaining
invaluable insights, and practiced stitching and dyeing. This immersive experience deepened their
appreciation for the artistry and craftsmanship associated with Chikankari, providing a holistic
understanding of this traditional craft.
