INPUT DEVICES
Two different categories
• Manual input devices – people use it to enter data
• Direct data-entry (DDE) devices – enable data to be
entered directly without a human having to input it
manually
TASK 1

Define the following input devices and give at least 1 advantage and 1
disadvantage of each device:
• Keyboards and keypads Mice
• Touchpads Tracker
balls
• Remote controls Joysticks
• Driving wheels Touch screens
• Scanners Digital
cameras
• Video cameras Webcams
• Microphones Sensors
TASK 2

• Create an A3 poster on Word, displaying


and labelling all input devices of Task 1.
