dispose your call. Everybody needs to get at least ONE appointment an
hour.

Hi John! (No need to state your name) I'm with Farmers Insurance. I have called to let you
know that we have lowered down our rates at about 10 to 15% and we just want to provide
you with a quote for your home and auto insurance. This may not be a good time for you but I’ll
be very quick, only 3 minutes of your time. Let me verify few things here for the quote.

You home address is __________ (no need to verify the name of the City) and I understand that
you are the owner, is that correct? If they have a new address, ask for it. If you see a PO BOX
address, ask for the physical address. If they are selling the house – Have you bought a new
home? What is the address? If no home yet, then move to the next call.

If not interested or happy with their current insurance company:

• I understand John. We are not asking for you to change today. We just want to give you some
options. You really have nothing to lose. I only need 3-4 minutes of your time now. Let me just
verify a little basic information to make sure that we will be giving you an accurate quote.
Then start with the home address and make sure that the person is the homeowner.

• We have been helping a lot of homeowners save on their insurance with better coverage. Let
me just verify a little basic information to make sure that we will be giving you an accurate
quote.

• What’s holding you back not to listen to the quote? 10 to 15% savings is a huge amount of
money. We have the lowest rates so far and I don’t want you to miss this opportunity.

If it’s a wrong number:


Oh I’m sorry but do you know John? If not you may say, ‘’well I am looking for the owner of this
property at _________ are you the owner?’’ If not, then ask if the person is a homeowner (‘’are you a
homeowner? We can also give you a quote for your personal insurance’’)
If you have reached the spouse then ask if she or he is the homeowner – ‘’Hi Mrs. Smith. Again I’m
with Farmers Insurance. We want to give you a quote for your home and auto insurance. You are
also the homeowner of this address right? If yes then
continue’’.

Even if you think that you are talking to the right person always verify the name of the person
that you are talking to - By the way, this is John Smith right?

John, I understand that you do not have Farmers Insurance now for your home and auto right?

If yes – Oh that’s great then. I think you are all set. Bye now.

If no – Good. Which insurance company do you have now for home? How about for your auto?
If asked why you need that information – Well we just want to make sure that you do not have
Farmers Insurance now.

What is the age of the roof on your house? Did you replace the roof since the house was built?
Is it more than 5 years old or more than 10 maybe? (For tile and metal roof, you don’t need to
know if it has been replaced because they do not replace those.)

For auto quote. Let me have the year make and model of your vehicles. (For example,
2021 Ford Mustang, 2021 Lincoln Navigator. If they gave you the type or description of
the vehicle, you need to ask for the year, make and model.)

And for the accuracy of the quote, what is your date of birth? (If refused to give, then
explain that we need it for the accuracy of the quote. If refused again, just move to the
next question.)

How many drivers are on the policy? What is the first and last name of the other driver/s? And the
date of birth? And how are you related to them? Is she your wife? Is she your daughter? Is she
your son?
We want to make sure that we are at the ballpark, how much do you pay for your home
insurance? How about for you auto? Is it being paid every month, every 6 months or every year? –
If asked why you need that information – ‘’Again, we just want to make sure that we are at the
ballpark’’. If can’t remember – ‘’you can just give an estimated amount if you do not know the
exact figure’’. If request to give, that’s fine you can move to the next question.

John, what your occupation? You are still working right? If refused to give, that is ok. (Why do you
need that information? – ‘’It is for additional discount purposes’’)

And you email address please? ‘’Just in case we can’t get a hold of you by phone. But we don’t
really send any promotional through email so don’t worry’’.

John, thank you so much for all this information. I will have one of the licensed agents call you
tomorrow. Will you be available in the morning or in the afternoon? The call will only take
about 3-4 minutes. Just a brief follow up and to discuss the quote with you. (Do not set an
appointment before 9am or after 6pm) – Please do not use the word appointment. They don’t
want to hear it.

Finally, before I let you go I understand that you agree to receive a call from one of our licensed
agents from Farmers Insurance to discuss the quote with you. Is that correct? The answer should
be a strong YES!
Things to remember:

You can set the appointments from Monday to Friday from 9:00-6:00pm

Every time you get an appointment, you need to send it to the group chat and to my email:

Subject line should be Name of the campaign – Date and time of the appointment – Name of the
prospect.

For example: TX high S – Monday 5/18 at 10am or anytime in the morning – John Smith
(You will see the name if the campaign on the dialer)

If not interested
“I understand that you're happy with what you have now. We are not asking for you to change
right away, we just want you to have some options so you can also compare the current rates
that you have now. It would not hurt you if you will let us run a quote for you. We just want to
take the opportunity to help you save some money. It will only take about 3 minutes to gather all
the information we need.” Then start verifying the information.

Where did you get my number?


“Most of the people that we call are those who have requested for a quote in the past. I don’t
know if you did or someone did it for you.” Then start verifying the information.
Where are you located?
“We are in the same area and I am from the marketing department and a local Farmers agent
will call you to discuss the quote with you.” Then start verifying the information.
Can you send it through my email/mail?
“We would love to do that for you but we need to gather few pieces of information to make sure
that we can provide you an accurate quote. It will only take 3 to 4 minutes if we will be calling
you for a quote.” Then start verifying the information.
We just switched insurance recently
“I understand. We just want to give you an option so you can see how much we can help you save
for your home and auto. We can help you get a refund from your current provider if you decided
to switch.”” Then start verifying the information.

If the person is in a hurry


“I'm sorry if I caught you at a bad time. I just need 2-3 minutes now then we will just call you
back with the quote. Let me start with your home address.” Then start verifying the
information.
If the person is interested but he/she has no time to talk
You may say – “John, we would love to talk to you about a quote. What time will you be
available today? So we can gather few pieces of information and we can run an actual quote
for you.”
If the person doesn't own a home or renting an apartment, move to another call. Say
thank you and hung up.
If the person is already with Farmers, Foremost or 21st Century ask for an apology and
move to another call.
If the person said yes to an appointment but did not verify home address, did not specify
appointment time and date, did not confirm that he is not with Farmers, consider that as
your call back not an appointment.
If the person is on the DO NOT Call list, ask for an apology and give him the assurance that
his number will be removed from the list.

You would see the first and last name, the phone number and the address. The
Disposition tabs are the ones on the very left side that has to be click twice.
The name of the campaign for this lead is Agent 8 CA.
Always check the City and State that you are calling to make sure that you give them your correct
location when asked.

Voice mail, No answer, Fax tone, Machine, Person not available dispose as Not available
If the person has Farmers for auto or home insurance dispose it as Already with Farmers
If the person doesn’t want a quote and adamant dispose it as Not interested
If the person is interested and wants a quote but it is not a good time to talk dispose it as Callback
If the person asked you to remove his number from the list, language barrier dispose it as Do not
call
For your appointments, if you get a successful lead dispose it as an Appointment
