    The VNITC (VietNam Information and Telecommunication Community) was started in 2007 with 8 members. It organizes offline meetings for members to exchange information on IT and telecommunications topics. There are currently 49 members including researchers, businessmen, students and academics. The community publishes a newsletter quarterly featuring papers on emerging technologies. It also maintains a Japanese-Vietnamese IT/Telecom dictionary to help members learn technical terms. The goal of VNITC is to share knowledge and ideas in a non-profit way to improve the Vietnamese IT and telecom sector.
