Bagong Silang National High
School (BSNHS) took a vibrant stand
for gender equality and women's
empowerment throughout March, in
honor of National Women’s Month.
Every Friday, the school community
donned anything purple, symbolizing
solidarity for women’s rights and
gender equality. This initiative, known
as #PurpleFridays, highlighted the
school’s commitment to the
#WecanbeEquAll advocacy,
promoting inclusivity regardless of
gender, ability, status, or situation.

Inclusive Society" resonated

with an all-female cast, amplifying the
voices of women in every aspect of

gender equality.
BSNHS also integrated in
"catch-up Fridays" activities to
educate students about significant
women in history and their
contributions. Through various
activities, students learned about
women’s rights and empowerment,
emphasizing their crucial role in
shaping a more inclusive society.
National Women’s Month
served as a reminder of the ongoing
fight for gender equality and women’s
rights. By celebrating women's
achievements and advocating for
inclusivity, BSNHS reaffirmed its
commitment to creating a society that
values diversity and social justice.
Also, another GAD related
Celebrations for the month of March,
Girl Child Week and Women with
Disabilities Day Celebration –
everyone is encourage to join the Girl
Child Week, observed every fourth
week of March, which is led by the
Council for the Welfare of Children, as
well as the Women with Disabilities
day celebration spearheaded
annually by the “National Council on
Disability Affairs.
