PART 4: Difficulties in English when pronouncing: (Write about 80-100 words)
Hi. My name is Vu Manh Tien. For a long time, English pronunciation has always been a
challenge for me. It is very difficult to pronounce English, which is not my mother-tongue.
Firstly, I think it is silent letters. Many English words contain silent letters, such as the "k" in
"knight" or the "h" in "hour." These can be difficult to identify and pronounce correctly.
Secondly, English has a wide range of vowel sounds, which can be difficult to distinguish
and produce accurately. For example, the "a" in "cat" is different from the "a" in "car". Next,
English often has consonant clusters, such as "str" in "street" or "thr" in "three." These can be
difficult to pronounce smoothly and clearly. Especially in terms of accent, it's very difficult
for me to remember the principles and how to emphasize each word appropriately. Besides,
English pronunciation can vary significantly depending on the region where it is spoken. This
can make it difficult for non-native speakers to understand and produce the correct
pronunciation. Finally, those are the difficulties that I think will be difficult when
pronouncing English.
