What are your best practices as an administrator or leader in your agency?

I was an Admin Specialist before and we handle the housekeeping of a company. I always make
sure to interact with them in a nice way specially at the start of the day. By asking them how are
they, if they have eaten before coming to work and making sure that they always smile before
starting their daily routine.
Making sure that they receive even little rewards by sharing food with them and being with them
not their boss but also their friend.
How did you achieve your VMGs?
Being a leader is not just showing others that you are in the position to do every positive and
negative things. Being a leader should be an example to the others in a nice way.
Taking care of those under you.
Giving them rewards and recognition at times.
What problems did you encounter along the way?
Since there is still higher than the position that I had before, it’s not easy simply say that the
housekeeping are doing their best to do their daily task. Making sure that the director is satisfied
with what they are doing, that they are always on time and making sure that they do not abandon
their designated positions everyday.
