● Ensure Valid work at height permit. Low Area Engineer
● Anypersonworkingabove2mheightshallbe
considered as working at height.
● Ensure all personnel assigned to work at height are
not afraid and medically fir for height works (Must
have cleared Vertigo tests).
● Work shall not be allowed to be carried out standing
over wooden boxes, empty barrels ,and other
makeshift arrangements.
● In case of practical difficulties to provide working
platform, safety harness with fall arrestors (Self
inertia reels) shall be installed and used.
● For small openings floor covers shall be provided
with adequate strength.
● Stop work at height in high wind velocity.
● Home made ladders not to be used.
● Ladders with broken rug not to be used.
