B. Learning Procedures
1. ELICIT
The learners will be asked what they already know about collecting
and organizing data by joining a game called Kahoot. “Unlocking
Difficulties” COI 1, 4, 8,9

2. ENGAGE
The learners will be grouped into four groups and each group will
be asked to do the activity “KNOW and ARRANGE yourselves.”
The learners will be asked what safety procedures and rules needed
in every group activity. COI 5
Each group will be asked to arrange themselves according to:
(Teacher will pick a category from the box)
a. The first letter of your surname
b. Birth month
c. Birth order
d. Age

ENGAGE
Using the given list of the parts of levels of organization in an organism, let the
students
arrange it from smallest to largest level-part.
3. EXPLORE
The learners will be asked to go to their respective places as a
group and will be asked to choose a box using a “Wheel of Fortune”
COI 6, 8

The learners will have to accomplish the task inside the box.

These are the steps to win the game.
1. Draw a table with three columns.
2. Label the first column with the word BIRTH MONTH,

These are the steps to win the game.
1. Draw a table with three columns.
2. Label the first column with the word BIRTH ORDER,
the second column with TALLY MARKS, and the third
column with FREQUENCY.
3. List all your birth orders on the first column (no
repetition)
4. Count your members who are that certain age and write
it to the second column.
5. Write the total number of tally marks as the frequency
in the third column.

Call of Duty Box Task


These are the steps to win the game.
1. Draw a table with three columns.
2. Label the first column with the word FIRST LETTER OF
SURNAME, the second column with TALLY MARKS, and
the third column with FREQUENCY.
3. List all the first letters of surnames on the first column
(no repetition)
4. Count your members who are that certain age and write
it to the second column.
5. Write the total number of tally marks as the frequency
in the third column.

Roblox Box Task


These are the steps to win the game.
1. Draw a table with three columns.
2. Label the first column with the word AGES, the second
column with TALLY MARKS, and the third column with
FREQUENCY.
3. List all your ages on the first column (no repetition)
4. Count your members who are that certain age and write
it to the second column.
5. Write the total number of tally marks as the frequency
in the third column.
4. EXPLAIN
The group will be asked to present their accomplished task on
the board and read and then answer the following questions.

b. How many of your players joined the game?
c. What category got the highest result? What does this imply?
d. What would be a good Title for your chart?
e. What can you conclude from the Frequency Chart you made?
f. What is the importance of collecting data?
g. What is the significance of integrity or the correctness of data in
collecting and organizing data?

5. ELABORATE
A. Application
The learners will be asked to go to their group and do these
tasks in each group. The group will pick their task and they will
be graded with a rubric. COI 1, 6, 7, 8
Task A: Collect and organize data your group’s favorite social media.
(Tiktok, Youtube, Facebook and Instagram)

Task B: Collect and organize data for your group’s favorite country.
(Philippines, Japan, South Korea and Hongkong)

Task C: Collect and organize data for your group’s favorite canteen
soup. (Champorado, Lugaw, Sopas and Miswa)

Task D: Collect and organize data for your group’s favorite Larong
Lahi. (Tumbang Preso, Patintero, Batuhan bola and piko)

B. Generalization
The students will be asked questions regarding the lesson,
and they will sing along with the song entitled "Integrity
song”

6. EVALUATE COI 9
Direction: Draw a heart <3 if the statement is true and a letter X if
false.
