1. 1-4-2007 Mr. Basheer Pasha set up a firm called Movva Engneering
Consultancy services by introducing cash of AED 25, 000 as capital
2. 2-4-2007 Mr. Basheer opened a Bank account with Grindlays Bank, for the
firm by depositing AED 15, 000.
3. 3-4-2007 Mr. Basheer issued cheque and purchased the following fixed assets
for office use
1. Furniture and fittings AED 5000
2. Air Conditioner AED 3500
3. Office Equipment AED 2500
4. 4-4-2007 Mr. pasha had rented an office space for AED 300 per month on
April 1, 2007 and paid security deposit of AED 3000 by cheque. He
also hired mr. sachin as accountant and Mr. Nadeem as
administrator on monthly salary of AED 650 and AED 550
respectively
5. 5-4-2007 Movva Engineering Consultancy service entered into a contract with
Ahmed & Co. for offering consulting services at agreed price of AED
8000 and he received an advance of AED 3000 by cheque
6. 6-4-2007 Movva engineering consultancy services received an invoice for AED
1500 from G.N Associates towards printing office stationary
7. 7-4-2007 Mr. Basheer withdraw cash of AED 1500 FOR personal use
8. 8-4-2007 Paid AED 275 in cash towards office maintenance charges
9. 9-4-2007 Received AED 3500 in cheque for consultancy services rendered
10. 10-4-2007 Paid by cheque AED 500 to G.N Associates
11. 15-4-2007 Deposited cash of AED 3000 into Bank

You are required to


a. Create the company and necessary ledger accounts, record the transactions in tally
accounting software
b. In each transaction write down the ledger you created and the group of each ledger
as well as the voucher used to record the transaction in answer sheet provided
c. After finishing recording transactions prepare the trial balance
