P R E F A C E

In response to public demand, the undersigned author is pleased

to publish this 1983 - 2011 Shariah Bar Examinations On

Succession, Wills/Adjudication And Settlement Of Estate

S u g g e s t e d A n s w e r s which covers from the start of

Shariah bar to the latest examination.

This will be a great assistance to the Shariah bar examinees,

Islamic Studies students, Shariah law professors, lawyers and to the

Muslims in the Philippines on their further understanding to the

Presidential Decree No. 1083 known as the Muslim Code of Personal

Laws in the Philippines. The answers were discussed by the author to

the masteral students of Islamic studies of the King Faisal Center of

Islamic, Arabic and Asian Studies and carefully checked by the experts

and authorities in Inheritance law like Dr. Asnawil G. Ronsing, a

professor of Law, and Atty. Amina Mimbala, who got 100% in this

subject during she took the 1999 bar exams. Aleem Anwar Radiamoda,

a graduated Shariah Law from abroad, compared and dissected its

validity in the Islamic point of view.

It is hoped that this will help and guide Shariah bar examinees

and law students in their understanding and taking the examinations.

Foreward

The King Faisal Center for Islamic, Arabic and Asian Studies has

consistently stressed the importance of maintaining public assurance in

the educational system of the Mindanao State University and its

globally standard and integrity of the education, and producer of

topnotchers and pool of Shariah Lawyers.

Thus, it is that while we already had textbooks and course syllabus, the

KFCIAAS saw fit to write and answer the previous Shariah Bar

questions from start to present in the four (4) areas of Bar subjects: this

1983 - 2011 Shariah Bar Examinations On Succession,

Wills/Adjudication And Settlement Of Estate S u g g e s t e d

A n s w e r s is patterned on how to answer properly during the

actual examination, through the KFCIAAS Faculty anchored to its

Research and Extension Services Department.

This book had been dissected, scrutinized and examined by the

KFCIAAS Faculty experts of their respective fields of study, hence,

Islamic Studies students are advised and commended to read this book

as part of subject references and of classroom instruction. Suggested

answers, in a sense, bring an abstract and figuratively closer to concrete

answers in the final examination.

Our hope and believe for more books and references from the Faculty

of this Center. Commendations and praises to the best craft.
