Gardening is a popular hobby, but I haven’t known any other person that’s more answer :(

He now is zin his 60s. has youthful appearance – doesn’t look his age at all.
Besides, he was a fighter pilot, that is to say, he has such a great health, he even seems to
has good physique
be stronger than other younger men.

physique and energy of a man half his age
When – don’t know exactly when – do know that he has always been fond of/keen on he has grown fond
doing gardening since the first day I met him, like about 12 years ago – but he was still of
working at that time => It was until when he retired that he could literally/truly pursuit pursue
this hobby. (He even sold his house in the center of the city so that he could relocate to
the suburbs, where he got a plot around the house for his garden. )

He started with some kinds of flowers that I gotta admit that really enhance the overall
appearance of a space.
But what I love the most was fruit trees that he planted later like jackfruit or pomelo
trees. Everytime we come to visit him and my mother in law, I always check whether the
fruits are ripe.
He also grows some kinds of herbs that usually are eaten raw in VN, without usuing any
pesticides or chemicals, just kitchen waste as compost. I must say that’s really a wise
thing to do to avoid messing with your stomach.
Well, all that to say, I’m glad that he has used his retirement so well and now I know who
to ask when it comes to growing plants
