STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

I Rajni Devi after the completion of my Bachelor did the job for few years.
However soon realise that I need to study further in the area of my interest.
During last few years I have developed interest in Hospitality as tourism is
growing worldwide and lot of opportunities are stored in future. Moreover,
In India, conventional Bachelor’s degrees have no values and one needs to
have qualification of international repute to have success in life.

I researched lot of institutes and universities in India. But seeing the quality
of education in India I was not satisfied with any of the courses available in
India.

In the meantime, I got an opportunity to visit my sister in Australia. Here

also I visited few of the institutions offering professional courses and found
Westin College is offering Hospitality course and their course structure is
designed in a such a way that one can get both practical and theoretical
knowledge during studies.

We all know cookery and hospitality industry is one of the fastest growing
industries which opens 365 days a year and 24*7. Moreover, I want to this
course from Australia because Australia is second preferred destination
after Switzerland to study professional cookery and culinary arts. Also,
according to the recent reports, it has been predicted that there is a lot of
demand of chefs across the world.

After the completion of the course, I plan to return to India where my

parents are also planning to retire soon. For this reason, I have checked
several hotels or restaurants in India where I can apply once my training
in Australia is completed. Some of my target workplaces are major
international luxury hotels like St. Regis Mumbai, Four Seasons Hotel
Mumbai or JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu.

The food served in these hotels is made by chefs and cooks who are
tenured in their craft. Completion of this course from Westin College will
enable me to gain a crucial advantage over any other applicant or
competitor.
I understand that I will be fighting it out against thousands of applicants
who will have local culinary and hospitality training. Most people I will
be competing with will likely be young and competitive. Completing my
hospitality education in Australia will definitely give me a huge
advantage over other applicants.

Therefore, I wish to study Diploma of Hospitality from Westin College and

I am sure this course will give me more job opportunities back in my home
country.

Therefore, I request you to kindly extend my visa so that I can complete my

studies and go back to my country and do wonders in hospitality industry.

Regards
Rajni
