IN RE: CEASE AND DESIST / DEFAMATORY STATEMENTS

We refer to the above and hereby advise you that we act for and on behalf of our
aforementioned client.

We have been instructed to address you herein at our client’s instance and request.

During around 3 April 2024 you spoke to some church members attending the same church
as our client and made various scathing, unlawful, wrongful and defamatory statements
relating to our client.

Your allegations made contain numerous false unlawful remarks which have the sole
intention of causing damage to our clients’ reputation and dignity. By extension, they have
also been made in effort to disparage the good name and reputation of our client in both her
personal and professional capacity, and to sully our client’s reputation within the church.

You falsely accused our client of dating one of the church leaders who is a happily married
man. You unfounded and unlawful statement has also damaged the reputation of a good
man and damaged his marriage.

Given the seriousness and defamatory nature of your allegations, we demand a formal
written apology addressed to our client within 48 hours or else our client will be forced to take
legal action against you in the court of law.

Make sure our client receives the written apology within 24 hours and copies of the letter
should also be given to the church members you lied to.
