Purpose:
This source is a web page and
usually it would be to share
nob-biased information, but
this web page is more of an
aware-of-the-topic sort of web
page which has a bias as it is
written in the “i” context and is
biased against his own opinion
about the war.

Limitations:
Like I mentioned, a lamination
I think is that it is biased and
probably has some biased
information at that. I do not
know if everything he is saying

Not a lot of websites have the
author's full name and date, as
well as credentials which I see
a lot of web pages lacking,
maybe because they are not
is true as I am not sure
whether it is supported by

a bit of knowledge but the
same goes for that, the
knowledge I do receive is not
in a fact format and more of an
aware format which makes it
difficult for me to know if
everything is true without
getting overloaded with
information.

Greenstein is part of a solitary
campaign and therefore the
information he is giving out is
probably very too completely
accurate as he is a founding

Summary of evaluation:
There was a lot of information on this web page and I do think
the web page comes from a credible website and author as he
has his credentials which show that he knows about the topic he
is writing about. It helps that there is a clear date it was
published as I can establish how new the information is as well.
One thing that puts me off though is how biased he is in his
writing, which can twist the narrative a bit from what it actually
is because he has a bias he follows. The web page is clearly not
meant for information and facts but or of a biography of almost
all of his experiences in the situation, which adds onto how real
his writing is.

no credentials on the TOI staff.
Limitations:
Some limitations I found were
of the editors which are from
the website itself, but I find no
information about who those
people are and what their
background is like, which
means I do not know if they
are credible in what they write.

This is a web page dedicated to
news which means that what is
written is in a journaling
format and written and
collected by journalists most
likely. It is not to show facts
but to draw readers attention
to the writing with maybe
shocking information and
hyped up situations. This is to
give information to people, but
not a factual format. There
doesn’t seem to be bias in the
writing, which makes it more
credible in itself.
Values:
Even with many limitations
there are still some great
values that this web page
provides such as a date as to
when the writing was
published, which is of course
great to check how fresh the
information really is. The web
page is not biased either which
makes it easier to believe that
they are not connected to the
topic about the Israel war at
all. This gives the impression
that they are just common
journalist working for a news
website and maybe don’t have
full credibility when it comes to
the topic at hand, which makes
it harder to know how much of
it is reality and how much
comes from hyped up
information, which is also
something which can happen
as it is a news website
designed to draw people in.
the information isn’t altered to
fit a perspective. There is a lot
of information surrounding the
topic which helps build a
picture of what is going on. It
also helps that there are
in-text citations in the writing
which helps build on the lack of
credentials surrounding the
authors, having in-text
citations from researchers who
maybe know a bit on the topic.

Summary of evaluation:
I think this web page was good for a quick read to summarize
what's happening, thanks to its origin of being a news web
page. I liked that it had a date and in-text citations to prove
some of the writing which helps me believe more of that is
written. Another great aspect was that there was no clear bias
in the writing and was written in a neutral format. One huge
thing which I think makes the web page worse is the fact that
who wrote it is very vague, all it says is TOI staff which doesn’t
give me much. I do not know if they are credible in what they
are writing, which continues by seeing their previous work which
has nothing to do with the topic at hand, which gives me the
impression that they are just normal news reporters which
makes all the information a bit shaky and less trustworthy.

Purpose:
The purpose of this article is to
inform about the raging issue
in Israel about freedom of
speech and consists of facts
and a few interviews from
people on both sides of this
issue. The intended audience of
this audience is definitely
people who want to learn about
this issue and people who need
to learn what is happening
around the world, but mostly
adults. The author herself
probably didn't get to choose
the format herself and the
news station she works for
probably chose it for her
instead, but an article is one of
the most productive ways to
reach information to people.
Values:
This source is extremely useful
her sources, but she is a news
reporter and journalist and
works for a quite good news
station so she probably gets
her sources first hand. There is
probably some information that
is being left out, but I can not
find what, as there is always
some information that is not
included as they can not
include everything on the
issue.
if you want to learn about this
exact topic and it focuses
mostly only on that. The
author talks about both sides
of the topic and collects
interviews from both sides of
the issue. She is probably an
expert in her journalism field
as she works for a quite good
news station in the U.S and
also further down on the article
it says what the author is and
what she works as and proving
her credibility. The source was
published recently in November
of 2023, and that is a little
while after this issue started so
they are quick on the issue. I
believe this source has been
peer reviewed as it says
another person contributed to
the article but is not listed as
an author and the article was
definitely reviewed by a few
people before it was published
as it was published on a news
station website. This source
probably has primary sources
as it is a news station so that
makes it even more reliable as
they get information from
people who have experienced
 it.

Summary of evaluation:
I feel that this source is a very reliable source as it comes from
an author who shows her credentials and has a few peers who
reviewed it and it was also published on a news station's
website. It was also useful to have an exact date where the
article was published so then I could establish how new this
article was with this information. The article clearly does not
have any biases as she includes information from both sides of
the conflict and interviews and quotes from both sides. This
article was also written clearly for facts and information about
this issue in Israel.
