THREE DIMENSIONS OF CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

Based on the reporter, mulltigrade teaching is all about classroom organization,

student management, and, ultimately, the successful transmission of grade specific
curricula. It is the teacher responsibility as a multigrade teacher to plan and organize the
classroom to get the best results from the space and resources available. Management
of a multigrade classroom revolves around three dimensions. There are three
dimension of classroom management namely, teacher, classroom, and students.
Teacher includes the planning. My understanding about planning is the multigrade
teaching must plan and organized students and educate level of long-term progress towards the
goals outline in their scope and sequence. As well as their individual education plans for
necessary. The reporter talked about being in control, in a multigrade classroom teacher who is
the head of the class has to control his/her class and create good learning environment for the
children. They must also make learners understand, how they can assess and making their
class manageable. The use of time is also being highlighted by the reporter. According to the
reporter, teacher must plan their time so that they meet student needs and their learning
process. Also the delegation of responsibility is being highlighted, it is important function in
every organization and in the educational service. It involves interesting work responsibility and
authority by a leader. The second interesting is the classroom, this includes the physical
condition. Physical condition is important because it can directly affect the learning environment
as well as the learning process of the students. The materials is also highlighted, according to
the reporter the teachers must ensure that they have the right materials needed and enhancing
their teaching strategy. Teaching and learning materials makes lessons more interesting,
learning easy, and enable to easily express concepts. Both teachers and students participate
actively and effectively in lesson sessions. Activities are also the teachers responsible for
facilitating all the learning activities in the classroom. Effective teachers know what activities
need to be done and have work out the procedure for each of them. Routines is so necessary to
have the procedures that are used to make learning and teaching easier.
The last interesting dimension is the students and it includes the time of task. When we
say time of task is learners must control the amount of time to spend on a specific task.
Behavior is also important. When we say behavior, the learners must maintain positive
attitude-be passive minded and most specially give and take respect to others specially
the co-learners. Maintaining of the good relationship is also important because this is
the key to have a successful collaboration teaching and learning. The way a classroom
is manage is in direct correlation to the relationship that develops on the outcomes of
the learning that takes place in that classroom. Lastly is the responsibility. It is also
important in teaching and learning. Each person is responsible for taking ownership of
their actions in a way that values building safe and positive classroom.
Arrangement of the classroom, supervision of the students, and eventually the effective
dissemination of grade-specific curricula are the three key components of multigrade teaching.
As a teacher of many grade levels, it is your duty to arrange and set up your classroom so that
you may make the most of the space and resources at your disposal. Three dimensions are
crucial to managing a classroom with several grade levels. The teacher, the classroom, and the
students are the three components that make up classroom management.
Planning is included by the teacher. According to my understanding of planning,
multigrade teaching must organize students, plan lessons, and teach students how to make
long-term progress toward the objectives outlined in their scope and sequence. Moreover, if
necessary, their unique schooling programs. The reporter spoke about having control; in a
classroom with multiple grades, the teacher in charge must maintain control over the students
and foster a positive learning atmosphere. Also, they need to teach students how to assess
themselves and organize their class such that it is manageable.
