Personal Reflection Notes

One of the most significant lessons I have learned from my master teacher, Jorix Nakahara,
is the importance of effective classroom management. Observing his classroom, I witnessed how he
seamlessly maintained a positive and productive learning environment. His ability to establish clear
expectations, routines, and consequences helped create a sense of order and respect among the
students. Through his guidance, I discovered the power of incorporating a variety of teaching
methods to engage students and meet their diverse learning needs. From cooperative learning
activities to hands-on and multimedia resources, my master teacher showcased the importance of
creating dynamic and interactive lessons. I learned the significance of incorporating different
modalities, such as visual, auditory, and kinesthetic, to enhance student comprehension and
retention.

Working with my master teacher has made clear how important constant evaluation and
professional development are. He encouraged me to assess myself, look for opinions, and identify
areas that needed improvements to address the different need of the learner. His knowledge,
mentoring, and direction have given me useful abilities and insights into effective instructional
techniques. I'm grateful of the opportunity to learn from him and motivated to use what I've
learned in my own teaching career. As a Technical Vocational teacher at Tagum National Trade
School, I'm looking forward to getting better at what I do while continually aiming to have a positive
influence on my students' lives.
