Personal Reflection Notes

During my clinical supervision under Sir Jorix S. Nakahara, I have gained valuable insights and
experiences in my teaching journey. One significant aspect that stood out was the coaching provided by my
immediate supervisor. The coaching emphasized the importance of incorporating student self-actualization
activities and assessment tools with performance indicator rubrics. This guidance aimed to create the best
possible learning experience for each student and to effectively assess their level of mastery in using an
analog multi-meter for testing components in RAC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning).

Through this coaching, I have learned the significance of student self-actualization activities in
promoting a student-centered approach. These activities not only engage and empower students in their own
learning but also enable them to take ownership of their educational journey. By integrating these activities
into my lessons, I have witnessed an increased level of enthusiasm and motivation among my students.

Furthermore, the use of performance indicator rubrics has been instrumental in assessing and
measuring student mastery. These rubrics provide clear criteria and benchmarks for evaluating students'
understanding and proficiency in using the analog multi-meter. It has allowed me to provide constructive
feedback tailored to individual students' needs, facilitating their growth and development.

Overall, this teaching experience and coaching have reinforced the importance of creating a learner-
centric environment and employing effective assessment strategies. By incorporating student self-
actualization activities and utilizing performance indicator rubrics, I aim to continuously improve and provide
the best possible learning experience for my students while ensuring they master the skills necessary in RAC.
