About Us
Mia Macaroni & Flour Factory was started as a family business and was
incorporated in 2009 EC. The company offices and manufacturing facilities
are located at Industry Zone of Dire Dawa City.

We manufacture distribute wheat flour and macaroni products for consumers

in Dire Dawa and neighboring Regions.

The foundation of this outstanding company was built by a committed family

who believe in the development of the local manufacturing sector and the
production of high quality food products.

Through their vision, Mia Food Processing Company has developed a

tradition of excellence in the production of Flour and macaroni for the local
markets since incorporation of the company in 2009 EC.

Through the years, management has implemented several changes to

improve the quality and capacity of our operation. We continue to providing
excellent service in anticipation of changing customer needs.

Capacity

At present the Factory has a daily production and distribution capacity of:

 820 quintal wheat flour and

 288 quintal short cut pasta/macaroni/

To be competitive in the production and supply of high quality processed

food products through our dynamic work force and the use of the latest
technology and environmentally friendly food processing machines, and
materials.

Quality Assurance
Mia Macaroni Factory is registered with and complies with all regulatory
requirements by the Ministries of Labour, Health, as well as the Bureau of
Standards.

The company has a certificate of recognition from institutions that ensure

conformity and food safety in the country and it is distributing its products to
consumers in Dire Dawa and surrounding regions at reasonable prices.

Our Facility
As part of our long term goal, we have extended our warehouse facility in
anticipation of the company’s growth and development over the next 10
years.

In recent years, we have undertaken a comprehensive review of our

equipment, and have implemented high performance technology that has
significantly improved and modernized our manufacturing capabilities.

At Mia Macaroni Factory, we continue to monitor key components of our

operation to ensure optimum performance. This has resulted in significant
grown, as we continue to attract new customers, while improving our
relationship with our current customers.

Our Staff

The heart and soul of our company is our workforce, our staffs have
been trained in food safety and good manufacturing practices. Most
of our employees are long serving members, and are competent in
the capacity in which they operate to produce safe quality products.

As of Sene 30, 2015 EC., the Factory has hired 36 permanent, 14 contract
and 5 temporary workers in Production, Distribution and Administration.

 Insuring that all work is performed in accordance with all the Country
requirements and guidelines.

In addition, as business increases, we will hire additional job

superintendents and project managers as needed.
