4th Grade General Information
● Homework- will be given on Monday. They can work on this anytime
throughout the week, and it will always be due on Friday. Any work not
completed in class will also need to be completed at home for
homework.

● Friday Email- We like to keep our parents in the loop! Look for an
email each Friday to keep updated on what is happening at Austin
and in 4th grade!

● Communication- The best way to communicate with us is through

email. Keep in mind our planning period is not until 9:20-10:05 for us to
respond to emails. We will always answer within 24-48 hours, during
school hours.
4th Grade General Information
● Dojo Points- This is how we manage our classroom behavior and send
pictures with what we are doing in class for the week! Please check this
daily to see how your child did at school for the day!

● Infinite Campus- Please make sure you are familiar with checking your
child’s grades through infinite campus. If your child has not turned in an
assignment, we will list it as missing. As 4th graders, we want them to be
more responsible with turning in their assignments.

● Canvas - We will be posting online assignments and important information

for our students on Canvas. Your child can show you what the Canvas
classrooms look like and how to access their assignments. Please ask them
if you’re interested in exploring Canvas.
