T writes the aims on the board with the new words then starts to explain each new word to

T writes questions (1a, 1b, 1d, 2a, 2b, 5b, 6a) from the students book on the board and
explains it to SS
T uses CCQ to check SS understanding
T tells SS to open their pages (3, 4) and answer questions (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) in their notebooks
T tells SS to check their answers in pairs
T checks with each student individually
